Home Customer Assistance 60 Day / 90 Day Notices

                                                      DONALA'S 60 DAY NOTICES

This past year or so, Donala implemented the use of a 60 day notice as a courtesy to our customers prior to being placed on disconnect.
Once placed on disconnect more fees and penalties are added to the bill.  There may be a time when you had not realized the District had not received your payment therefore, the District felt the courtesy 60 day notice would be useful to our residents.

                                                      DONALA'S 90 DAY NOTICES

The District policy is full payment is due on the 20th of each month.  If the bill is not paid in full within 90 days a disconnect letter will be mailed to the cusomter via regular mail and certified mail.  A disconnect letter fee will be charged to the customer's account if a certified (registered) letter is mailed to notify of the pending disconnection of service.  If you are a tenant in the District, a letter will also be sent to the property owner notifing them of the pending disconnect.  Once a disconnect letter is issued a full payment is required by the 25th of current month or water service will be terminated.  If termination occurs then a disconnect/reconnection fee is charged to the account and after 10 days has passed without payment a lien is filed on the property.
